Your data
Make a data request under the DPDP Act.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights over your personal data. This form is how you exercise them with us, and it is the same route for a grievance. You will get a reference by email immediately.
What you can ask for
- Access
- A copy of the personal data of yours that we hold, and what we do with it.
- Correction
- Correct or complete anything inaccurate.
- Erasure
- Delete your data and close your account.
- Withdraw consent
- Withdraw consent for processing that relies on it.
- Nominate
- Name someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you cannot.
- Grievance
- Complain about how we have handled your personal data.
Much of this you can do yourself in the console: delete captured messages, delete a project, or close the account. Use this form when you would rather we did it, or when it concerns data you cannot reach.
If your data is in someone else's sandbox because their application sent it
there, they are its controller - the Data Fiduciary - and the request belongs with
them. Lodge it here anyway if you cannot reach them and we will help.
The request
What happens next
- You get a reference by email straight away.
- We acknowledge within 3 working days.
- We resolve within 30 days, and tell you if verification is needed first.
- Not satisfied? You may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
